What Lunara stores
Account details, birth information you choose to provide, chart placements derived from it, questions you send to Ask Lunara, AI-answer reports, daily intentions, ritual and Echo selections, subscription status, reminder preferences, private-circle activity, and anonymous product feedback you choose to send.
What a witness can see
Only the archetype, intention, and anchor you explicitly share. Witnesses never receive your birth data, location, full chart, reading, journal text, or private Echo history.
How data is used
To calculate your chart, generate a chart-grounded reflection, create an Intention Path, operate reminders and subscriptions, improve the product from anonymous feedback, review content reports, prevent abuse, and provide the private features you request. Supabase processes account and saved-app data; Anthropic processes only the bounded question or compact goal interview needed to select a reviewed reflection or planning strategy. Lunara does not send product feedback to the model, sell personal data, or use private spiritual reflections for advertising.
Birth-place suggestions
When you type a birth place, Lunara sends only the place text you typed and the interface language to Lunara's own server. Suggestions are searched in a self-hosted city index derived from GeoNames data; your query is not sent to a live third-party location API. Birth date, birth time, intention text, Echoes, questions, and journal content are not included in the suggestion request. GeoNames data is used under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 License.
Birth-time window exploration
The optional Resonance birth-time explorer calculates candidate charts in your browser. The broad life-event years and categories entered there are not sent to Lunara, added to your account, or saved in browser storage; they disappear when you close or reload the page.
Minimal launch measurement
During beta, Lunara counts a small set of aggregate events such as opening the app, reading a Sinyal, setting an intention, recording an Echo, or encountering a screen error. These counts contain no email, user or device identifier, birth information, question, intention text, Echo content, or journal text. Web performance measurements are stored only as aggregate metric totals. They are used to find confusing or unstable parts of the launch experience, not to profile people or target advertising.
Optional advertising measurement
On the public website only, and only if you choose “Allow measurement” in the banner, Lunara loads Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Google Ads tags so we can learn which advertisements bring people here. These tags receive standard technical data (IP address, browser, the page you viewed) plus a small set of events: page view, opening the demo, starting a checkout, and a completed subscription. They never receive your birth information, chart placements, intentions, Echoes, questions, private-circle content, email or account identifier. Ad personalization signals are turned off. If you decline, no third-party measurement script is loaded; you can change your choice by clearing site data in your browser. Meta and Google act as independent controllers for the data they receive; see their privacy policies for details.
AI and wellbeing
AI selects an identifier from bounded, reviewed content; Lunara renders the visible answer from server-owned copy and chart facts. You can report an answer inside the app. AI is not a therapist, medical service, scientific prediction, or guarantee. Astrology is offered as a symbolic reflection practice. Do not use Lunara for emergencies or health decisions.
Your choices
You can revoke a share, leave a circle, block or report another member, disable reminders, export a copy of your data by contacting us, and request account deletion. Deletion requests are acknowledged within seven days and completed within thirty days unless limited retention is legally required.
